Well, we are in search for two (2) Wii Fits. I was just at Best Buy a couple of weeks ago and they were piled on the floor and now (of course) you can’t find one in a 50 miles radius. I am starting to think the stores hide the high-demand items in the back and randomly restock the shelves…. what do you think? Thoughts, Kelly L.? Of course when you want something is it then out of stock. I will keep an eye out for Wii Fit in Dallas and let you know if I find one!
Wii Fit is the greatest thing ever!!! It totally works! The Holla-Hoop game really gets your abs going. I would try ebay and narrow the search by your zip code. Also the people who are Amazon.com sellers are usually pretty good.
I think you’re right about the re-stocking thing. I think they wait till right before Christmas and put them all out. I also think they hide the high demand stuff from the sales! Good luck finding one though!

Most stores like Walmart & Target get daily shipments of 2-4 Wii/Wii Fit systems. Sometimes the stores are nice enough to tell you what time the shipments get stocked, so you can be in the store waiting.

I couldn’t find one ANYWHERE, and then I was in TJMaxx buying Mr. Newlywed some shirts…and there were about 20 of them sitting there.
I was back there a few weeks ago, and they still had a lot of them. I hear Marshall’s has them as well.

We have a Wii Fit and the Mr. loves it, he actually does yoga with it. Its funny to see. I have a pic of him doing it, he would kill me if he knew that.

I love my Wii Fit – it really works and it is a lot of fun! Have you tried ebay? They really aren’t that much more there than they are in the stores if you watch them. Good luck finding one!
I am dying for a Wii and the Wii Fit game for Christmas. I may have to try and find it at TJMaxx or something. We’ve been wanting it for a year now!
My mom is buying my hubby a Wii, so I want the wii fit to go with it! Hmmm.. I had no idea they are hard to find!
it’s not on my list because we don’t have a good room to use it, but maybe post-baby i’ll need it.
I am not dying for one YET! I have heard awesome things about it but I think i HAVE to go to the gym. I am scared if I stayed at home I would get nothing done

Awwww man! My brother had 2 extra and I immediately shot him an email asking if he’d sold them. I’m not kidding, he sold his last one just minutes ago on eBay

My husband and I have the wii fit, and my mom basically had to stalk the video game store to get it. A few pointers I learned during my search –
If you call Best Buy every day around 11:00 they will let you know if they received a shipment.
The person at Target also told me that if they run them in their ad, they have been hoarding their shipments for several weeks in anticipation of the ad. This person told me to get there as soon as the store opens the morning the ad runs.

Try blockbuster video — my husband found ours there. I would have never thought of looking there.
