That I can never paint my nails as good as the girl at Pinky’s? Practice does NOT always make perfect. My nails always look like crapola if I try a DIY mani.

That sometimes I come up with the BEST ideas? Laughter.
{Story} We were in need of party decorations and we were running out of time. I made a flying trip to Target [where else?] and found this set of birthday plates & napkins. They also had small round cake plates. I had already purchased large white plates for dinner so I really didn’t have a need for these adorable square plates.
Then it hit me. Birthday garland/banner (whichever you prefer to call it). I punched a hole on each side of the plate where the edge dipped down, ran ribbon through the holes and taped it to the walls and voila! It’s amazing what you come up with when you are pressed for time.
