I hate the way they look with this tattoo on my foot! Yet another reason (or should I say ‘pair of shoes’) why I’m considering having it removed. I would really like a pair of the silver Jack Rogers but that would be a big fat waste of $94.95 because I would never wear them…. as long as this flower is on my foot. It’s very simple, Jack Rogers and tattoos just do not go together. Period. Anyone have any experience with tattoo removal???

please excuse the poor photo quality – still waiting for my iPhone ![]()

Ugh, I know what you mean. I have a blue star on my leg, not on the outside, but the inner ankle, and still, I wish I wouldn’t have gotten it. Ah, the things you do when you’re young. I’m contemplating having it removed as well.

The JR’s look great on your foot! Wear them!!!
In the meantime, look into laser tatto removal if it is bothering you that much. It takes several treatments to get rid of a tattoo–getting slightly lighter after each treatment. This is what I have read on the subject–no personal experience. Your tattoo is pretty small so it shouldn’t be too bad or too expensive I would guess.
Funny, I’m wearing my cream Jack Rogers just like these at this very moment! (love casual Fridays)
Wish I knew something about tattoo removal, but the truth is that this is exactly why I’ve never gotten one. I’m way too indecisive and picky for permanent ink. However, I know someone who went through it and said it was the best decision she ever made. Good luck!

For whatever it’s worth … I LOVE the combo of the sandal + the ink on your foot. Absolutely delightful!

Hi–I don’t know anything about tattoo removal but I was flipping channels and can across LA Ink. Kat VonD has a line of tattoo coverup at Sephora–she was shooting the ad for it in that episode. You might give that a try. Good luck!!
I wish I could wear Jack Rodgers– I have a really high instep and they won’t go on my feet
. I have a tattoo on my hip (awesome 18th birthday decision) and haven’t looked into removal but have used make-up to cover it when I was volunteering at a camp that didn’t allow them to show & we had to wear swimsuits. Maybe you could cover it?

I just had a conversation about tattoos with my babysitter! She is a high school senior and just got butterfly tattoos on her right foot. She says that she will love them forever!

I didn’t know you had a tattoo! If it bothers you, maybe you could just get some coverup. I think they sell it at the drugstore? I love wearing my Jack Rogers!

I think someone else mentioned it, but I’ll second the suggestion of Kat Von D’s tattoo cover-up. She made it rub-proof, sweat-proof, etc – it’s supposedly really good stuff! Might be just the thing for Jack Rogers days!
