Update: I am SO. embarrassed… I was so excited about this post & I was writing so quickly (very early in the morning) that I accidentally called Jessica from POB… Jane! Not sure who the heck Jane is! Jessica, I hope you will forgive me!?

My dress is NOT in the image above but I did ultimately go with a gown from Priscilla of Boston. To top off the day, Jane (that would be, Jessica) of POB was at The Bride Room and just like all of the gals at The Bride Room, she was a doll too! Unfortunately, since I’m the easiest bride to please & I tried on three dresses and ordered mine along with a veil in 30 minutes, I missed the designer of the Platinum collection. He did not arrive at the boutique until later in the day. But if you follow the @TheBrideRoom on Twitter, you know they had a magnificent time with him.
Jane (again, that would be, Jessica) also reminded how much I want one a Hermes Clic H bracelet… especially now that my future last name begins with a H! Perfect, eh?
Back to bridal, here is a picture of the ever-so-darling The Bride Room boutique…. I felt right at home! I can’t wait to go back. More posts to come on the gals of The Bride Room. I swear, Stephanie is a long-lost sister of mine!

While I was there, I HAD to try this Amsale on for all of you that fell in love with it last week. I’m here to report, it is even more fabulous in person!!
So what’s on the agenda for this week?
1. Finalize the room rate at the hotel.
2. Invitations. This is one of the more difficult tasks for me, invitations set. the. tone. for any event. Therefore, they need to be THE invitations.
3. Bridesmaid dresses. I’ve found a couple but I’m still looking for a formal, full-length yet summery dress. It is going to be H O T in July! I want the girls to be comfortable. Hopefully by tomorrow, I’ll have a color palette for you. Fingers crossed.
4. Wait not-so-patiently for all of my bridesmaids to receive their “will you be my bridesmaid?” packages in the mail!!
That’s all for now. JH and I had a busy but wonderful weekend with our families and friends. Also, happy blog-belated Birthday to my bf, Amanda Rose!!! I celebrated with her on Friday night. I hope everyone had a great weekend, as well and here’s to an even better week ahead. xxo, Nina

The Bride Room looks adorable! Oh how I would love to go wedding gown shopping again- I was a one day bride and found my dress is 4 hours! Can’t wait to see colors and hear about the invites. You’re completely correct about them- the event starts the moment your guests open that envelope. Great planning love!

I hear you on the invitations. By far the hardest part of the wedding to plan for me also. I’m pretty sure that I changed my mind more on this subject then all the others combined. Do some exploring, some searching for ideas and then when you do make a decision make sure to stop looking because there will always be another idea to catch your eyes. Just trust your design judgement and know that it will be great!

Nina….I LOVE IT!!! I can’t wait to see it in
person.
I am *in love* with that one-shoulder Amsale gown, really, I want to renew my vows this year so I can wear it. I am sure your dress is equally as beautiful.
And… puhleeeeeease get an Hermes bracelet as fast as you can. I love the Elisabeth Hasselbeck wears one on The View all of the time. How cute when your last name is an H? Maybe I should name a child an “H” name so I can get one for a push present?!!

This is the Nashville The Bride Room, right? I shopped there first for my own dress. Loved the store and the staff. Didn’t get mine there, but they definitely had the best ambience of any other store I shopped.
