Natalie (one of the original Damen Girls) is getting married later this month and we couldn’t let the opportunity slip by to celebrate her single-hood one last time!!! As you can see from the pictures, we had MORE than a great time… I don’t think Chicago will ever be the same. I met Natalie in college and then we became roommates a few years later (aka The Damen Girls). I was delighted to meet some of Nat’s friends from Naperville and her childhood friends as well. There were some ‘blog fans’ in the bunch… we really hit it off (big shocker, I know)! Anyway, Nat’s Maid of Honor, Abby, did a remarkable job on this party. I asked her if she was interested in joining my staff – one day when I can afford an employee or two!
She did some really unique games (which I’m not normally a fan of but this was really cute) she asked everyone to bring a pair of panties that they would wear… she hung them from the chandelier and then Nat had to guess who the panties belonged to. And, then our Bride-to-be went home with a brand new undies-robe!! Can you tell I don’t like words that are associated with undergarments?
It was one of the best Bachelorette Parties I’ve attended in my day! Great work, Abby!! p.s. The pictures are totally worth looking at… so funny. Love and miss to my Girls!!

Love your blog Nina..I really have become addicted and since I am new, there are lots of past posts to keep me occupied. Yours is far more extensive than mine (you write about Burberry and J Crew and I share recipes and pictures of my dogs). I guess the world needs all jkind of bloggers. Can’t wait to see you at the wedding!
