Just as I thought the day couldn’t get better, I was treated to dinner at The Gage (This will take you to their website). And, what a treat it was! The meal was outstanding. The owners (G’s friends) sent over champagne as soon as we sat down and that was just the beginning. We started with the first course, we had venison tartar, for the second we had Caesar salad and caramelized lobster, third course we had Amish chicken and the daily risotto along with melt-in-your-mouth mashed potatos, but to bring the meal to an end… we were treated again by the owners to their famous chocolate souffle. Although, the service alone is worth going back for…Take my advise, make a reservation today!! Thanks for yet another fabulous night in the city, G!! Next time we can only eat two courses before the souffle.
