I love bhg.com {Better Homes and Gardens}. When the best friends and I lived in Chicago, I used bhg.com as a reference for DIY home projects, recipes, organizing tips, and anything else I could clip and stash in my virtual notebook on their site. So now that JH and I are in the process of making our new place a home, I decided it was time for me to start browsing bhg.com more frequently. A few days ago, I came across one on few flea market find ideas.
How clever are these fireplace frames?
These ideas could work with lots of different finishes. For example, something less worn would be just as fitting in a guest room of a home on the more traditional side.
I love unconventional items in homes. It add so much character to a space. Now, I’m ready to head to a flea market and see if I can track down chicken coop… or is it coup!?

After waiting for-evah for our KY house to sell we are now building a new house here in KC and I can’t wait for it to be done next month so I can start decorating. Some of my favorite current pieces that I have found are an old apothecary sign that says PHARMACIST and a horse topped weather vane. My MIL owns an antique store in Montana and I love when we go for a visit. I can’t wait to see pictures once you move in.
