I’m happy to report that I’m back at my Desktop in my cozy home office at 703. It is great to be back in my normal routine… wake up to the start of the cappuccino machine, meet Kiks in the kitchen, froth the milk, chat at the island about our schedules for the day, Kiks attempts to convince me (at least once) to revise my schedule to do one of her tasks with her and then I make my way back upstairs and start the day!!
Today is a BIG day. I have a long list of design work to complete, follow up re: NYC trip to Chicago company, prepare for tomorrow’s meeting and finalize the New Name that will take the place of Nina Knows Best. I’m planning a Giveaway in conjunction to the launch of the new name which, if all goes as planned, will happen later this week. My lifesaver, Penny Lane Designs, has come to the rescue yet again! It was confirmed the “Hello, Handsomes” were indeed Chris Pine & Zachary Quinto. I would like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press for choosing these two dashing men to present the Globe for Best Actress in a Television Drama to Freida Pinto {below}. Loved her look, by the way! *Mustard – the gourmet kind, not Frenchs – is one of my fave colors right now.
I loved the extra details of Kate Winslet’s dress and I especially love her sincerity. I think it is because I’ve watch The Holiday so many times that I actually think “Iris” is a really person and a real-life friend of mine.
Renee Zellweger’s 2009 Look, Love It! or Hate It! ? Is the BIG question this morning.

I was also a fan of Ann Hathaway {also in Navy}, America Ferrara {loved the dress}, Eva Longoria Parker, Ashton & Demi, Penelope Cruz, Kate Beckinsale {very close for my overall fave… still dying over the dress}, Amy Adams {Oscar de la Renta… wins me over every time} and last but not least one of my favorite men… Simon Baker. The Devil Wears Prada made me a forever fan… What is it about the one-eye-brow raise?
