I could have sworn I owned one if not two classic trifle dishes and two Mondays ago I found myself empty handed. With empty hands and a counter full of ingredients for a layered Mexican dip, I added two (or 3. or 4) trifle dishes to my “to-buy” list. Willow House is always my first stop for entertaining pieces and they once again did not let me down. The Hawthorne Trifle is on sale for $24.96!
A classic trifle dish can be used for so many things. When it comes to parties, it can be a serving dish or a display piece. Fill it with a layer salad on your buffet or fill it with peppermints on your dessert table. When you’re not hosting a party, incorporate it into your holiday decor. I’m loving all the painted pine cones pictures on Pinterest, they would look adorable in this trifle dish!

I love this!!! I use my trifle bowls all of the time!
I actually filled one with Mum-Mums for the “candy” buffet for Trey’s first birthday!! I wanted to make sure the little ones had treats too!
