I know I am normally telling you about the newest J.Crew blazer or some other fabulous find I’ve landed upon but this afternoon I’m feeling the need to leave the bargains and bags on the rack and talk about the very important event that is taking place this coming Tuesday… Election Day!
This post is not to promote one candidate or the other. It isn’t to discuss policies and or pass judgement… the post is simply to make a clear-unbiased request to all of my readers and to anyone that is uncertain about what to do this coming Tuesday.
Educate yourself on both parties and both candidates (It’s not too late!) and not only the Presidential candidates but your Local Politicians too. It is very important that you know where they stand and what they stand for. It’s important to vote but it’s even more important to cast a ballot that stands for what YOU believe in… not what your mother tells you or your friends or your favorite celebrity…. You and Only You! After all, that is why we live in America, isn’t it?

Great post and I am glad you mentioned the local candidates too. It is important to know everything you are voting for!
It couldn’t have been said better! And the celebrity bit is a very important point. Celebrity’s are joe smoes just like us. They don’t have any special insite that we are not privy to. It is so important to vote because you have found the person that is right for you – not your favorite singer, actor, etc. I agree about the local as well. Out here in California EVERYTHING goes to the people so there is so much to consider!
