#1: Super Bowl Recipe Recap
Sausage Tarts (or Cups) – recipe from Kate, instructions from Samma & Erin made them on Super Bowl Sunday too! As the girls promised, they were a HUGE hit! And super easy too!
Ready for the oven.
*I added about 6 sliced jalapenos (finely diced) instead of olives.
All ready to eat!
As promised here is the Mississippi Sin Dip recipe, given to me by my dear friend Darla!
1 loaf Hawaiian bread
1 1/2 cups sour cream
2 cups grated cheddar
1 8 oz. cream cheese
1/3 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup chopped ham
1/3 cup green chile peppers
Slice off top of bread and hollow loaf out (like hollowing out a pumpkin). Pour in mixture. Put top back on, wrap in foil. Bake at 350 for an hour. You will use the pieces you hollowed out as the bread for dipping. Once it comes out of oven, tear up the top of the loaf as well for dipping.
CONSUME. ATTACK. DEVOUR.
*I bought an extra package of Hawaiian rolls (tear into bite size pieces) for dipping! Oh and I added a little garlic powder too!
My bowl came out a little dark. It was because I had to pull the foil from the top for the dip to get hot. I had one too many things in the oven at the same time. It did not matter one bit, the dip was still delicious and was gone in a heartbeat!
My parents made chicken enchiladas, skirt steak sandwiches, gourmet loaded potato skins and other guests brought hot wings, chili cheese dip, veggies and more that I can’t remember. For dessert my mother made, Texas Sheet Cake & White Chocolate Almond Popcorn Balls! Yum. Yum. Yum.
#2 Bachelor Recap
1. I think Brad and Chantel O. are great together. It seems very natural to both of them. I think she seems like a normal girl with minimal baggage, if any for that matter. And I believe she truly is on the show for the right reasons.
2. Do I think she is IN LOVE with him? I’m not sure. But from past seasons we know it’s about the time they start throwing out the L-bomb. No surprise. Plus, their date was pretty powerful and I have to say I do believe her (maybe it’s the hormones?). And she’s right, she had nothing to gain from telling him during the cocktail party. Plus, it made him feel a lot better so no harm done in my book.
3. I had to laugh when Michelle thought the rain was going to ruin Chantel’s date with Brad. Ha! Boy was she wrong. Brad’s hotel room. Brad’s white shirt. ONLY. I think it’s safe to say the rain did quite the opposite.
4. I like that Chantel wrinkles her nose. I wrinkle my nose at JH all the time. Good wrinkles.
5. I literally cringe when Michelle says, “He’s my man.” Gag.
6. “I’m crazy about you” = I love you but I’m not sure if I should say it yet.
7. Michelle has ZERO class.
8. This week’s Group Date was horrible.
9. It should be illegal for Michelle to use the phrase Bless Her Heart.
10. I seriously spit out my milk when Michelle was bleeped out… “Watching Brad take his shirt off makes me want to take him home & __ __ __ __ __ __ .” Really? Did she forget she has a daughter at home watching this show!?!?! Mom of the Year.
11. And why doesn’t she EVER talk about her daughter? Based on #10, maybe she has forgotten she has a daughter!?
12. Michelle’s eyes and facial expressions scare the living daylights out of me. I’m not kidding. She gives me the creeps. I think we’ll see her again on TV one day. Next time, Chris Cuomo will be interviewing her from her prison cell. She’s got 20/20 written all over her!

I didn’t know that Michelle had a daughter!!! Maybe because she never talks about her, huh? Yikes! Michelle has one of the hardest faces I’ve ever seen. No warmth/kindness about her at all! I’m so disappointed that Brad seems to favor her

Oh I am so glad someone else feels that way about Michelle..I have not watched every episode this season but, tune in here and there and I am repulsed by Michelle she is just a B**ch. I really hope he see’s the light and kicks her off but, then again sorry to say something about him I just don’t care for either!

You’re spinach dip looks amazing! I’m going to give it a try tonight at a friends cocktail party! Do you think I have to cook it for a full hour? Was thinking of tossing it in for 20/30mins just to warm it up or is it better to have it a little more crispy?
