Typical Saturday morning for moi… working at the computer wrapped in cashmere and downing lattes like they are water. I had just finished latte #1 and was contemplating going down and making a second when I heard someone walking up the stairs and before I could process who it was dad was standing in my doorway Starbucks in hand!! My day was made… I’m very easy to please!

{Take-Away} Don’t under estimate the small stuff. Small acts of kindness and thoughtfulness can have as much if not more impact than an extravagant gift.

Hi, Nina – great blog, btw…
This is so true…sometimes when my husband is out & about in the mornings, he surprises me with coffee from my favorite cafe…it’s better than roses in my book
i completely agree. the small stuff makes the biggest difference!
Good Afternoon, Friend! What a sweet dad…I agree with you and all the other “commenters” the small stuff does count. There is no better way to brighten a person’s day or make the feel special than to show up with something unexpected. Hope you had a great Sunday!
Dads are simply the best aren’t they!?
