I just received a survey via email and started answering the questions… all is going well… then comes the inevitable… “Significant Other Status” which of course used to be “Marital Status”… And not only have they changed the title of the question, they have also changed the answers…. Here are the new options:
1. Single/Divorced
2. In a Relationship
3. Separated
4. Married
So much for “Single” having a positive connotation… Who the heck is the god of politically correctiveness anyway?
