During the Damen Girls Era, I would walk to Pinky’s literally every Saturday morning. I would stop in Einstein’s for my coffee on the way. Coffee, Manicure and…. a shoulder massage is included too… doesn’t get much better than that! Plus, I love the owners!! Thanks, John & Girls, for all of the memories… and many more memories to come. Do you remember when the kid came in and sold us ice cream?? Annie, I know you remember!
Pinky’s Nail Salon on Southport Avenue (in Chicago – my true love)… Everything (down to the towels) is PINK & GREEN. They change the decor often… but never changes from pink & green. It’s a lot of fun to see the new towels and pillows they find! HFG, I have a feeling you would be a HUGE fan too. The manicures are to DIE for!! I’m still dying over the mani/pedi I got two days ago!! John, can you open a Pinky’s in so IL?
Please let me make a very important note… These pictures were taken on Wednesday at 10 AM…which is why the place is practically empty. I really wish I had a picture from a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning… I’ll try to get one the next time I’m in Chicago over a weekend. Here is their website!!
