New “Link” page is up thanks (millions of) to Mr. & Mrs. Mojito. I’ve added a few new sites and made appropriate edits to those of you with new URLs etc (If I missed one, please let me know). I’m very excited for this to be back up and running…. it was driving me crazy that the page was blank & I wasn’t directing traffic to your wonderful blogs! So check it out if you’re in the market for some new blog friends… or just some really good daily reads!
Also thanks to the Mojito’s, this blog officially has a favicon. Yay. I’ve only needed to install one since we launched in January. Oops, that’s been 6 mos now! Oh well, I’m more than positive my lack of favicon wasn’t keeping you from reading… or sleeping!?! But we’ve got one now & boy do I LOVE it.
I’m sure you’re thinking… And what the hell are you going to do with that lame header of yours? I’m still working on it. Hang in there. You know me the wheels are always turning
As for daily life…
Last night, I went to dinner with my grandparents. I know I’m very lucky to have both of grandparents & I love hanging with them. We went for all-you-can-eat fish. We enjoyed our little trip down to the lake very much. Even though I’m 28, I’m still their 1st grandchild & they still spoil me just as much as they did when I was born. I feel kind of bad sometimes for the other 15+ grandchildren, but I quickly get over it!
The roofers are still here and it still sounds like the house is going to come crashing down around me. I’m going to run out for a quick bite to eat, stop by the post office & then it’s time to start getting ready to head to St.Louis for the New Kids on the Block concert! I considered going up in the attic and pulling out one of my old NKOTB t-shirts circa 1989 but quickly decided to go with something a little more my current style. But do you remember the GINORMOUS button craze of the old NKOTB days??? Want to take bets on how many we’ll see tonight at the concert tonight?

Last summer, my friend, J, BADLY wanted NKOTB tickets for her 29th Bday. Well, her husband came through with AMAZING seats for J and three of her “bestest”! I, of course, was one of them. SO when they were in Philadelphia, last November, we went! It was a BLAST! First off, it was PACKED! And it was ALL women. In fact, they turned ALL of the Mens Rooms into MORE Ladies Rooms. EVERYONE was within a decade of each other. IT was rather funny AND fun! I KNOW you will have a blast! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I totally have that button Nina! BFF and I went to their concert in Tinley Park Friday night and had an awesome time! We also went twice last year, haha!

And both my grandparents are still alive as well. I love being able to have dinner with them randomly throughout the week and every Sunday. I realize how blessed I am for that!

Oh that is so wonderful that you got to spend time with your grandparents– I am the oldest of 13 of us and I know exactly what you’re saying about being a tad spoiled. I’m the only one that got a trip to NYC for my graduation gift, c’est la vie! Very happy to see you got your page worked out– only mildly sad to see that I was slashed from the friends section.

I love your new favicon! I have one but I need to change it since my redesign. Also, I am obviously placing it wrong because it’s not showing up everywhere. Sigh. If you have any advice about that let me know. Also, I went to Target today and bought that Target dress you recommended in blue! I plan to wear it on July 4th.
