Yet another pre-work post for the record books. Many of us have jumped on the momAgenda bandwagon, which was started by our dear friend, Erin. I’m in love with mine (as you know already). And, being the pen addict that I am, I started a convo on Twitter the other day regarding pens to use with your myAgenda/momAgenda. Kindly, Nina Restieri even retweeted my question.

So, here are the results, the Top 3 Picks for Your Favorite Pens to Use to “pencil-in” all your dates in your momAgenda or myAgenda.

Pick #1: Blue-Eyed Bride’s choice. This palette is swoon worthy, is it not?! I’m actually considering skipping lunch so that I can run to my local office supply store to pick it up. Solution: Don’t skip lunch & order from Amazon.com.  G2 Retractable Gel Ink Assorted Pens Fine Point, 20-Pack

Woot woot– I think I need them all. I’m not partial to one or the other. I’ll take one of each, thanks!

Oh I love Erin’s pens also! I may have to put those on our next office depot order at work!

The G2 pens that Erin loves are probably one of my favorites…the colors are fantastic and I like to use them for special things in my planner (holidays, birthdays, etc.) My lovely boyfriend discovered the clickable sharpie pens and I finally scooped some up and am in love! I would say this is my standard go to for all of my daily planner items. The “Le Pen” by Marvy is fabulous but very hard to find. These are not found at office supply stores- mostly in stationary boutique-ish places. I am just happy that there are other pen nerds out there :)

I love the Uniball pens too, but I had no idea that they came in such fun colors! I think I am going to have to get on this myAgenda train so that I have a place to use all of these wonderful, colorful pens! Thanks for the recs!

The G2 pens are my absolute favorite. I won’t write with anything else at work! I didn’t know there was such a rainbow of colors, though. I’ll have to check them out!

I don’t do the momAgenda but I do use different colors in my Franklin Covey for my different appointments. In the past I used plain Sharpie fine tip markers but always had the bleed thru. Now I use the Sharpie pens (regular or click either works). They even have a few more colors now than just blue, black & red. I hope Sharpie listens and makes the pens in all of their fabulous colors!!! XOXO

Love the pen choices and shamefully have two of the three on my desk at all times! However, I think there is always a need for the perfect pencil. The type A in me needs to be able to erase! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a Ticonderoga. Black and triangle are my top two choices. I also secretly love the Rose Art Gold sparkly pencils. The sparkles did me in!

I am a huge fan of the Sharpie Pens. They are the best! I also like Pilot’s Precise V5. They have fun colors.

I’ve been using the MomAgenda for about two years now – this time of year you can typically find them on sale too. My favorite pen right now is the Sharpie fine tip pens with the caps – love them! I hadn’t seen the clickable ones yet! They really don’t bleed through, which I love! I also love the Sanford Liquid Expresso Ultra Fine Line Pen! Very similiar to the Sharpies, but thicker around the middle, to hold onto. (Kinda like me I guess!! Hee hee hee…)

I use mechanical pencil in my MomAgenda! I did not want to “soil” my planner with ink that has been crossed out. My life changes so much that I need to be able to erase and re-write in the new plan for the day or hour. I love the MomAgenda!!! My only wish is that the MomAgenda had a pen/pencil slot or holder on it. Maybe I need to loosen up on the pencil and try the fun pens you are suggesting!! Thanks for the ideas!!! Happy Planning. :)

I so love the Sharpie pens. I use them constantly at work. What would we do without Sharpies.

I have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE my momAgenda and I always use the bic 4 color retractable pen so everyone has their own color. BUT I think I am going to have to try these other pens. I am obssessed with journals and pens myself.

The Pilot FriXion Erasable Gel Ink Pen is the best of both worlds! I love gel pens because they dry quickly and don’t smear. I love Sharpies, too! And I LOVE color! However, managing my family’s schedule means I have to be able to update my planner (and I don’t like strike-throughs). Pencil is good for that, but it tends to smear a bit over time. The FriXion erases cleanly – you just need to be sure it’s dry if you make a mistake and want to erase it immediately.

I have and love all three of those. There’s no way I could pick a favorite!

I also love the 20 pack of the Staedtler triplus fineliners. Gorgeous colors and they also don’t bleed!

I love both the g2 and the uniball vision elite pens, but I’m SO frustrated that I can’t find these pens in Canada. They don’t seem to be stocked by the stationery / office supply stores here.

I love the colours, and would be purchasing these ALL the time.

I am a huge fan of Sharpie’s new no bleed through pens in black. Speaking of black…I love my momAgenda but wish that it was offered in a classic black or pewter or something. The colors available are supposed to be hip but border on cheesy.
