For those of you that have inquired about my “blue bag”… it is my pleasure to introduce to you my Marc Jacobs Venetia Bag in a dark-royal blue (almost navy) with a light powder pink lining (as you can see… it has been USED & ABUSED)!
Let’s go back to the Spring of 2005… I had been on The Hunt for the perfect-new-designer-non-the-less handbag… when one afternoon while strolling down Rush towards Oak Street downtown Chicago, I dropped into Barney’s for some Kiehl’s night cream… when out of the corner of my eye… I spotted it… sitting on the top shelf… there it was! It took me 1 second to fall in love, 10 minutes to purchase and about 1 minute to get all of my belongings switched over… and that’s how this fabulous bag and I met!
And, the best part is… I’ve never seen another bag in this color. It is as if Marc designed only one and it was just for me… I’m just so glad we found each other… because handbag shopping can be almost as hard as finding your soul mate, can it not?

Ohhh I have a bag like that.
I finally had to retire a Kate Spade bag this summer after carrying it straight for two years…with very few breaks.
It just looked so awful. I felt so bad for it.
