I’m sharing this product list because I seriously could not live without these few simple items. If you’re pregnant, planning on getting pregnant or just love a really great product, you’ll love this list!
I did not find all of these products on my own, I had help from my wonderful fellow pregnant girls. Callie introduced me to VitaFusion PreNatal Gummy Vitamins (I buy them at Target). I’ve always had a hard time taking vitamins (even before getting pregnant) so I was more than excited when she told me about these. I chew two a day and it’s been a life-saver. I don’t worry about the levels of vitamins I’m getting and giving to our baby boy anymore!
Heartburn took over my body while I was in Kansas City and Erin quickly sent me a text telling me to get to the closest CVS and pick up a bottle of TUMS Smoothies. Days like yesterday I eat these candy (trying not to go over the recommended daily intake)!

I’ve tried numerous different stretch mark products. I started with Palmer’s (the smell makes me gag), Burt’s Bees and the list goes on. Luckily (knock on wood) I don’t see any sign of stretch marks yet but preventive maintenance never hurt anyone and my skin is SO dry that I have to use something strong! I fell in love with Bio-Oil (click over to their website to download a $2 off coupon) and the Mustela line. I use the Hydra-Bebe lotion as well as the Double Action lotion. I was using the Double Action all over my body – every single day – but then reminded myself it’s $39 for a tube so I alternate all of these products. Sometimes I mix the Bio-Oil with the Hydra-Bebe lotion. Outstanding result! I originally purchased the Hydra-Bebe lotion to test it out to see if I wanted to use it for Baby H. It’s great for adults too and the smell is delightful. I plan to use the entire Mustela line for Baby H.

I read about Earth’s Best Mommy Bars in Pregnancy & Newborn magazine. I was finding myself out and about at 10:30 a.m. starving. I had already ate breakfast and wasn’t ready to eat lunch. I needed a healthy snack. Something you really can’t get fast while you are out. So I picked up a box of these bars at Babies R Us and I carry one or two in my purse at all times. They come in handy and are full of great nutrients!
And last but certainly not least, the food love of my life right now. THE FISH SANDWICH! Nothing tastes better to me. I eat them plain or with cheese. This is probably something I’ll hate once the baby arrives but right now if you would like the key to my heart… bring me a fish sandwich! Filet O’ Fish has been my favorite up until Wendy’s launched their Premium Fish Fillet for Lent and Summer. Boy oh boy, it. is. goooood.

What are your favorite pregnancy products? Was there one item you just absolutely loved to eat while you were pregnant? Share the goods with us!
In the meantime, who wants to meet at Wendy’s for a fish sandwich?

Thanks for this list! I’m getting ready to start on pre-natal vitamins and I’ve been anxious about it since multi-vitamins usually make me feel sick. I’m going to have to try out these gummy ones for sure!
Oh, I’ll have to try the Earth’s Best Mommy Bars they sound great! I also love the Wendy’s fish sandwhich so happy it’s back during Lent. My first trimester I could not live without my B-natals for nausea as well as Vernor’s ginger ale. Right now I’m loving my Gap maternity shirts they hug the belly and are so comfy and cute.
I could eat a whole box of Little Debby’s Valentines Day heart cupcakes when I was pregnant. The thought of them makes me gag now, but at the time, nothing could beat that! I will be trying the gummy vitamins this time around since the Target brand prenatals are so huge!
I’m almost 36 weeks, and I have craved Chick-fil-a from the start!
Fish sandwiches my whole first trimester and then I became obsessed with cheese and cauliflour. Not together though. Pregnancy cravings are such a strange thing. Mama Spanx is another must have.
Gap Maternity clothes and lounge pants, Citizens of Humanity Maternity Jeans, FIT flops, and chips and salsa
I went to Sam’s and got the giant container of TUMS….had to have them everyday! Belly Bar’s are also pretty yummy for a snack on the go.
Mustela smells so sweet on a newborn! it’s our favorite, too. and i just ate some Tums Smoothies.
Candy!
I have still just been taking Folic acid because I can’t stomach anything else. Maybe I’ll try the gummies for these last few weeks.
Tums are amazing. I actually prefer the mint ones (I discovered that in about my 38th week last time) but I’ll take whatever flavor is available to cure the burn. And the dryness, oh don’t get me started.
I’m almost 14 weeks and have had serious cravings for macaroni and cheese, spaghetti and meatballs, and cinnamon toast. And I always carry Tums Smoothies in my purse. Also, I’m going to check out these gummy vitamins and Mommy Bars. Thanks for sharing!
I couldn’t take regular vitamins pre-pregnancy. My doctor prescribed a pre-natal vitamin designed to help morning sickness while pregnant. I took them through the 1st trimester and then switched to gummies. I still take the gummies 2 years later.
The Tums Smoothies came out the year I was pregnant and I lived on them. They really helped with heartburn/reflux.
Waffles were my morning staple to ward off the morning sickness. I had morning sickness around the clock for 16 weeks. My husband had to start making them before I even opened my eyes. I would eat them in bed. I couldn’t eat or drink anything else until I got my waffles or I would be sick.
Then I would make a meal out of fresh corn on the cob. I couldn’t get enough of it. Cantaloupe was my other craving. I ate 4 bags of ice a week by myself. I also loved the smell of Pine Sol. LOL! I was weird.
So far, my only true pregnancy craving has been cereal. I can’t get enough! First it was Cinnamon Toast Crunch, then Captain Crunch, now a Honey Bunches of Oats & MultiGrain Cheerios combo. And I couldn’t live without my Gap Demi Panel black pants for the office. Other than that, it’s been business as usual for me so far. I’m sure the next 21 weeks will have lots of changes in store!
Love this list Nina!!! I am still taking those same prenatals!! I feel like they are just a great vitamin and I can somehow actually remember to take them!
I’ll have to let some of my pregnant friends know about the mommy bars – they sound great! Kind of like a Luna bar (which I ALWAYS keep in my diaper bag, somehow a baby makes you forget to eat – crazy I know!) but for Mommies to be?’
I went through the Mustella creams like crazy!! But I still ended up with a couple stretch marks (Trey was 9lb 7 oz) so I’m cool with it!
And I bet they are less intense than they would have been without using it!!
Throughout the first trimester of my pregnancy, I drank Tropicana orange juice like it was my JOB. Now, in the midst of my second trimester, I might have a tiny sip once every few days, and that seems to be suffice.
Every day I douse myself in baby oil when I get out of the shower, then rub Bella B Tummy Honey Butter all over my belly, and THEN complete the routine with a layer of Mama Mio O-Mega Super-Rich Body Cream, which my sister-in-law turned me onto. I, too, love it so much that I use it all over, but the $25 price tag per container is a little steep! Still, it’s been worth it as I’ve fought off dry skin all winter.
I also second the ladies that love their Gap Maternity long-sleeved tees and the Gap Maternity demi-panel black pants. The pants, especially, make me feel like I still look halfway decent at work.
GREAT LIST! I too LOVE those vitamins……….they were truly a godsend! I was crazy nauseous for a solid 17 weeks and won’t lie – I skipped my prenatal vitamins several times a week because I simply could not keep it down. Until I stumbled upon those at Target! They taste SO good!
I also liked preggy pop drops (I think that’s what they are called) — those helped a lot with nausea.
And, my all time favorite maternity dress pants are the ‘Favorite Trousers’ from Gap Maternity! So comfy and they don’t look like maternity pants at all!!!
Do you happen to know of any miracle pregnancy products that will make my hips and thighs shrink?
No baby on the way, but Tums are still a good friend of mine! On the lucky day when I hopefully marry and start a family I’ll have to buy stock in Tums
Too funny! Fish filet was my sandwich of choice while prego as well. I just saw the ad for Wendy’s and was thinking about that.
Great product list!! I will definitely keep it in mind when I am pregnant someday! I actually take the vitafusion prenatals already, great for women in general. (and hair growth!) Love for you and your sweet boy!
