It’s Sunday morning, Mother’s Day and we are still without power other than at the back door via generator! Frosty, aka MacGyver, found a way to give us one power outlet so we could charge computers, cameras, plug in the KitchenAid to make mashed potatoes for dinner last night and dry & straighten our hair (essential). He also was able to hook up the TV and satellite in the hearth room to the generator. I’m pretty sure we are the ONLY house in southern Illinois that has a working TV right now, let alone satellite!! Millions of thanks to my MacGyver!!
This is one my most favorite pictures of my mama. She hates that I’m always trying to snap a picture of her. “You have to let me approve that before you go posting it for the World to see, ” she says every time.
She is by far the best mother a girl could ask for. She loves all of us unconditionally and pushes us to be better people with every new day. She wants nothing less than the best for all of us and always puts us first before herself. Mom, I love you with all of my heart. Happy Mother’s Day, Kiks!!!
