More Halloween Goodness

by Nina on October 13, 2011

I’ve been busy collecting items for our Halloween party! Everywhere I go I’m checking the Halloween aisles for fun stuff to add to the mix. While I was at Toys R Us getting a few items from the baby department, I found all of these Favor Pack items for $1.99.

Plastic eyeballs to fill one of my apothecary jars. And I thought the funny face glasses and clip on spiders were just too festive to pass up.

Erin found these plates at Hobby Lobby and promptly sent me a picture message telling me to get myself to my local HL ASAP. I picked up the dinner and lunch sizes along with a big package of orange napkins.

The orange polka dot fabric and Halloween pom pom trim are the supplies for our table cloth/runner. I’m not sure if I’ll use this for the dessert or food table… or I might even go back to JoAnn Fabrics for a second set so I can have two. We’re going to sew the fabric and attach the trim temporarily so we can add different color trim for a party in the future! We use orange a lot at our house!

I’ve been looking for every reason to order these giant 36″ round balloons from Shop Sweet Lulu for I don’t know how long. Finally Halloween seemed like the perfect time to do so! I have two black polka dot balloons and two solid blacks coming my way. I had planned on order two oranges too but decided to go with all black. The different shades of orange make me nervous.

And if you weren’t all that fond of the zig zag dress (which I wore last night, you can see my tweet-picture here) or it’s sold out in your size, here’s an alternative that I happen to think is pretty darn cute too! I spotted this black and white polka dot top inside Old Navy so I ran in a snapped a picture for you! I think this would be adorable with orange corduroys or jeans with an orange scarf. I didn’t buy it but I’m thinking I might go back and get it.

I’ve had these glittery little gems since I planned Andrea’s “perfect pair” bridal shower. I wish I had 35 of them and I would use them as treat buckets but I’m planning to put some bakers paper inside these and fill them with candy to go on the tables.

I’m getting so excited!!! Don’t forget to check out Sweet Birdie’s Nest shop for Halloween paper goodies!
