This is a picture of my desk right now. Notice all of the post-its on my desk? That’s how I write my lists from time to time. I love to rip the post-it off my desk, crumble it up & throw in the trash can… it’s so much more fun that just drawing a line through the words on a sheet of paper! I know this may make me sound like an angry person, I swear I’m not!
Today, I have to pull out my creative juices to design a birth announcement & a save-the-date card today. Write one or two blog posts… or maybe three or four. I have a lot to share with all of you. Finish Parker’s birthday present (I’m beyond thrilled with my final idea… I will share with you next week after his party). I’m trying to finalize a couple of new jobs. I hope for all of us and our futures that the job market & economy gets stronger sooner than later. Today would be nice but I know that it a slightly unrealistic request!
Must also work on ideas for the non-profit young professionals group we are starting in our local region since we have a lunch meeting tomorrow. The organization has an official name, logo is being designed literally as I type & planning for our first event is in full swing. We will finalize everything tomorrow. It’s so exciting! If you are involved in a young professionals group in your area, we would love to hear about your organization & if you have any suggestions for us. Please send me an email by using the contact form in the navigation bar. Thanks a mil!
I’ll be back in a few. Happy Monday.

Be thinking about a 90th b-day invitation, too!!!
I’m loving the stack of books on your desk. I know why you like to crumbled up the post its – it feels like an accomplishment! It is like saying “Finished!” or “One more down!” There is a wonderful finality!

I like your idea of using Post Its for your to-do list – I use a Franklin Covey Planner and I think I am addicted to the little red check marks that I use for completed tasks.
I am so a post it note girl too. I just love to throw them away, my desk looks similar at work as well
ha ha
Recycle those post its Nina! And, I know you scribble with a beautiful new pen or sharpie before you crumble those post its! I just know it!
