mii wii fit in o nine

by Nina on January 12, 2009

Trying to stay on the Workout Track that I started on Sunday with Jenna and Andrea (with a kick boxing class & a short run… btw, I couldn’t walk until this afternoon), I decided to attend a body sculpting class with Kiks at her gym earlier today. Well, we arrived and the class was full. Luckily the gym is literally 5 minutes away from 703 so not too much time lost. On our way home Kiks told me about the Wii Fit program she has been doing every morning… Since I was in the mood to workout, I decided tonight was the perfect opportunity to set up my profile on the Wii and start the Wii Fit program myself.

Kiks and Frosty couldn’t pass up the opportunity for good free entertainment so they brought their after-work drinks downstairs and watched my first round at Wii Fit. There were a couple of times my dad couldn’t breath he was laughing so hard. For example, Wii gives you a “basic balance test”…

If you didn’t immediately find this absolutely hilarious, let me tell you my family and friends are probably on the floor laughing. I’m known for falling and tripping A LOT. The stories are priceless!! Although, I’m happy to report that the balance test results said that I’m exceptionally well-balance on my right leg… it’s the damn left leg that’s really screwing things up!

How about my mii (aka avatar)? Isn’t she très chic with her oversized black sunglasses?

I’ll keep you posted on my Wii progress. I’m very excited about this – it’s so fun!

The Wii Fit is ruthless… I have it and it guilt trips me on where I’ve been if I haven’t used it in a couple days! It’s a good time though, you’ll enjoy it!

I was crying. I can’t believe I missed the show. Darn that sick boy! I wanted the wii for Christmas just to have the wii fit! I was thinking it would be the perfect post baby workout. I can do alone at home while he swings along! I can’t wait to find out the progress. PS So glad you’re home!

Ok…I am cracking up at what the Wii screen says. When you txt me, I couldn’t read it…now I see why it was so freakin funny! I wish you would have invited me over to partake in the entertainment…I would have loved to watch you doing this!

Oh! Tons of fun, isn’t it? I just hate when it tells me my Wii Fit Age though. Yesterday it said I was 37 (6 years older than I actually am). I almost cried!

Just read your post about the Hunter Wellies and I’m in love!! What size did you order? I’m nervous they are going to be too tall for my tiny 5’3 height. Any advice?

I MUST HAVE this. A def MH for me! I probably don’t want to know my Wii Age or any other little pieces of info that it might tell me :-)

HAHA Wii Fit is HILARIOUS! I was doing push-ups (I think) and couldn’t do any more so I sat myself down next to the board and my trainer started yelling at me! :( My advice is to give your trainer a name so you can yell back at it, just like a real person :) Good luck!

This is so funny because I tried Wii Fit for the first time last night. It’s hard! I’ve taken yoga classes before and I though I was pretty good. But when you do yoga on there, they are super critical. It’s not enough to just hold the pose–you have to be perfectly still…ah, well, at least it is good entertainment ( I def. fell off the board at least twice last night)

xo,
MM

I love how the wii is so rude to you – I was playing one of the math challenge games and it basically told me I was stupid and should be crying in shame. Hilarious!

Let me know how the wii workouts go, I’ve heard you have to have a good sense of self to use the wii fit! :*)

I have one of those – and they do make you feel guilty! I love to do the hoola hoop – really does good for your mid-section. My little guy loves it too.

I need to start using my wii fit on a regular basis. I have been trying to eat better and I want to start working out, but I haven’t been able to establish a routine.
