I got so excited when I found this “Yes, I’m a Shutterbug” article by Martha in the current issue of Living all about her photography and her organizing, storing and file sharing of all of her photos! It was full of great tips and I’m convinced we need to buy a tripod for our Nikon. Thanks to Martha I also want a second lens, as well as this Data Robotics Drobo 10 terabyte external hard drive that she can access from anywhere (not sure but it sounds awesome) and a great big gigantic iMac in our home office. It’s all Martha’s fault!
You can read the full article in the November 2010 issue of Martha Stewart Living.
I was also thrilled to see a full page of happy faces and pretty designs from our good friends at Minted. on the pages of Living! Don’t forget to get your Holiday cards ordered.

If you read my last post, you know I mentioned wanting to make silhouette prints. I couldn’t believe it when I flipped to this page. Thank you SO much for all of the suggestions and advice. Love hearing from all of you! I’m not sure what I’m going to do but you’ll be the first to know!

These kitchens have nothing to do with Martha or her magazine. These kitchens are from a link my husband sent to me today. A link to a company he has known about for a long long time. Longer than he’s known me. He knows the owners personally. My response: What else are you hiding from me???
*Please note: we are not building a kitchen like this right now. But I’ll sleep better tonight knowing that we have someone in our back pocket when we’re ready!

Is it odd that I’m most obsessed with the commercial refrigerators?

Nina-
Found you through my real life junior league buddy, Erin{blue-eyed bride}! Love your blog and these kitchen pictures…funny you put up these two pics bc I am struggling to decide between a black stained island vs. just wood stained, the other cabinets will be a canvas color…and you are not crazy about the fridge! we are building right now and a “must” in my new kitchen was a build-in fridge!
These kitchens are amazing!!! I love the bookshelf for the cookbooks. I have a tripod for our Nikon and I love it. It’s great to have for family gatherings when you want a picture of the whole group.
You should check out this book for the silhouettes, too!

We use Mozy.com to store all our files (including pictures). You can access it anywhere and the files are the same size as they are on the computer. It also scans/ updates your mozy account, from your computer, multiple times a day. And the best part is that it is only something like $40 a YEAR!
Not odd at all! Those fridges are AMAZING!
Great kitchens! I’m looking forward to our next house and an amazing kitchen! No, it’s not weird about those commercial fridges! I want a couple myself! LOL I have a side by side right now and I hate it! There’s no room for large platters, etc. when I’m entertaining and it’s hard to see what I have in the freezer. That’s why we currently have a second fridge that we keep in the garage.
All are AMAZING! #3 or the last one is my favorite, but I would happily take any of the kitchens above!
OMG, love those kitchens. And the idea of the silhouette prints is great – leave it to Martha to provide you with timely instructions!
