It’s September and it’s time to forget the wedding for a bit and focus on my closet! While living out of a suitcase for the last 2+ years, I found myself picking up one-time wear items, borrowing from my mother or randomly rematching old items in my closet to create new outfits. Now that I’m getting settled into our new home and my new walk-in closet (don’t get too excited, it’s not SJP-style) I need to start filling it with classic, functional, good quality items. And I need to do this ASAP because I’m getting sick of wearing the same stuff over and over again. I adore my white jeans but geez louise people around town must think they are the only pair of pants I own!
These three dresses are from the Lilly Pulitzer 2010 Fall Collection. Not your traditional Lilly look, huh?! The dresses remind me a lot of Diane Von Furstenberg’s designs. My only issue with these dresses for Fall is they are sleeveless. I’m so ready to cover up my arms!
This one is my favorite… but unfortunately I think it’s made for blondes with skinny, tan legs.
And that’s definitely not me
So give me the goods… where are you shopping this Fall? What’s on your must-have list for the spiced-flavored season?

Ohhh I love these!! I agree though..I’m ready for some coverage. That bottom one is too cute. I really hope that leggings are still in this year. I began to love them too close to the end of the year. Most comfortable thing ever.

Love those! And so not Lilly! I am on the hunt for affordable camel colored riding boots. And oversized chunky sweaters. Oh, and skinny jeans in maternity size to accomodate the growing belly.
Very cute! I like that these dresses have a little bit of a different spin from normal Lilly, too. Nothing wrong with normal Lilly, just isn’t really my style! These, I’d love to wear!

Hi Nina, I love the dresses’ color and simple cut. A great tip for wearing sleeveless dresses like these when it’s getting colder, is to put a poncho on top. Ponchos and capes are really hot this fall, so why not?

love all 3 dresses ! I am a full time SAHM so my wardrobe is casual Mon. thru Fri w/ dressy pieces for date nights on the weekend. For fall, I live in jeans/cardigans & blazers. I’ve added TB Brayden clogs & TB animal print Sophie wedges. Also, opting for longer cardigans to pair w/ leggings this fall.
The last dress is my favorite, too! I was even on the Lilly site trying to figure out how to spend store credit! But I do not have skinny OR tan legs. I love the sleeves part of it, though. I love to cover my arms!
