I made it home just in time to load up the girls & the gifts and head out to Liz’s house to celebrate the growing belly of Tamie Hoyner! Liz Pitcher, Jessica Roth & Jenna Coghill hosted a beautiful shower for Tamie, Frank and the little-one-on-the-way. The Hoyner’s received lots o’ wonderful gifts… I think even the death trap will come in handy. It was a fantastic afternoon!

SUNDAY-FUN-DAY was next on the agenda. SIU Alumni Day at the Cubby Bear & Wrigley Field. It’s always lots o’ fun to catch up with old friends from college… And, of course, see how well people are aging. It’s good for the self-esteem. All-in-all, the entire day was a lot of fun… Monday wasn’t so fun, but I’m sure you can understand!

The roommate update: Lindsey Barr moved to Austin, Texas for a fantastic promotion with Aldo Shoes. We are sad to see her go, but we are very excited for her and wish her the best of luck. Nadia is officially the 4th Damen Girl!
