Since my Pepsi at lunch tasted like pond water, a stop at McDonald’s afterwards quickly became part of my agenda. And I thought it was about time that I took a picture of myself consuming the horrible beverage in an earth-killing cup that I love so much! Plus, it gives you a peek at my J.Crew ruffle sleeve t-shirt that I’m completely dying over and trying to figure out how I’m going to explain to people why I wear the same outfit every day. I wore my tee with slim cropped black pants, a gold & pearl necklace that Kiks picked up on the clearance table at Dillard’s, my huge pearl earrings & my gold McKim’s that my big sister picked up for me at the Lilly Warehouse sale (another item I’m wearing like a 3-year-old wears his Batman costume).

I may be exiled from the People’s Republic of Austin for saying this, but fountain soda in a styrofoam cup & with the right kind of ice really does taste better. Sonic does it best here.

Nina, I bought the gold McKIms last year and literally lived in them all summer. I loved the fact that I could dress them up or down. The only bad thing about them is that now they a little worse for wear because I wore them so much – ha!
