Almost the Weekend

How excited are you that it’s almost the weekend?? Saturday can’t get here soon enough for me. One of my younger cousin’s is getting married this weekend. It’s going to be quite a party and our family knows how to have a good time so it’s sure to be entertaining too! I would put $100 down right now that my cousin Matt will bust out his Michael Jackson moves. We may even see one of our cousin’s +1 do the worm, right Kel?

Today was pretty uneventful other than working on the logistics for my high school class reunion. I was flattered to be given the responsibility of planning such a huge milestone event for my class. I have a great team working with me and I’m confident it’s going to be a huge success.

While I was trying to figure out how to take a screenshot of my computer earlier, I accidentally snapped this picture of myself. This is what I look like when I’m working at my computer….

You’re probably thinking to yourself…. Nice necklace, you had that on yesterday. Yep, I wore the necklace again today! Speaking of my outfit, let’s talk about the tee I have on today. I bought it at H&M. I think they were $7.99 or $8.99. They are made with my all-time favorite t-shirt blend… 95/5. 95% cotton/5% spandex. This perfect combination gives you the appearance of a cool and casual tee but the spandex ensures your tee keeps it shape all day long. They have tanks, crewnecks, v-necks and long sleeves too. Along with two v-necks, I picked up two white tanks for $4.99 (I think, I can’t remember). The straps are in between too skinny and too fat… just right!! With 95/5 tees, you can transform an outfit in minutes (seconds, really). For example, let’s take what I have on right now. Light pink tee, billy blues shorts, gold McKims and a gold & pearl necklace.

Phone rings. “Let’s meet for drinks in 30.” Perfect. Add lightweight slender legged jeans, high heeled sandals or pumps and grab your favorite summer blazer. Boom, you’re out the door in 15. With a 15 minute cab ride, you’ll arrive just in time. Now, you’re at the bar enjoying a martini or mojito with your closest pal and you didn’t even have to pull a shirt over your head and mess up your hair. Good night, readers. I’m off to bed.
