We just finished Mamma Mia! The Movie and I absolutely LOVED it!! I know I’m probably months behind everyone else on this one so I apologize but I’m so excited I must tell you about it. I literally jumped on top of the square coffee table in the media room and starting dancing along at Dancing Queen!
One of my favorite songs in the movie…SOS! Kiks and I were singing right along. A third of my mother is still living in the 70s and since she raised me on her music – I too know all the words!!
My favorite song in the whole movie and one of my favorite parts {because I can’t share my favorite scene in fear I might ruin it for those that have not seen it yet – You know, I might not be the only one}…

They showed this on the plane yesterday, but I was sitting like 8 rows back from the tv and I had to sit in a contorted position to see the screen so I don’t know that I fully appreciated it
I think I will have to give it another chance on a real tv…
The Mr. watched this with me when it first came out. I adored it, he thought it was ok. I talked him into it since he owed me for some horrible guy movie he made me go see which neither of us liked.
I haven’t seen Mamma Mia yet, so you weren’t the last one! I want to rent it during the next few weeks.
Enjoy your weekend!
Sorry–that was me above!
Mamma mia was the best movie I saw last year. LOVED it!
I haven’t seen this either, but my sister got it for Christmas so hopefully I can watch it soon!
Oh I went to see this when it was touring a few years ago with my Mom – it was so amazing!
You have inspired me – maybe I will run out for the movie tonight!!
The music is amazing, isn’t it? Also, I just loooove the scenery. Greece is stunning. Sorry to hear Frosty didn’t like it, I wonder why?! Hehe. Xoxo-BLC
I want to see this movie!
This is my Diva’s favorite movie and soundtrack. I attempted to buy her the DVD for Christmas, but I got to the stores too late. They are still sold out around here.
I bought this for my mom for Christmas and we watched it yesterday – she’d seen the stage production and I hadn’t seen either version, but we LOVED IT! So much fun!
I am glad to hear it was a good movie. I love the musical and saw it at the Fox and on Broadway. I’ve been nervous to watch the film as I am afraid it won’t be able to compare.
So many people have said great things that I am going to have to add it to my Netflix
i looooved this movie too!
