Putting my Hunter’s to good use… Clean up 703 in full swing!!
That’s right!! They have reported that we did not have a tornado but we did have what is called an Inland Hurricane! 106 mph winds left us with a mass amount of damage to our community and surrounding areas. As of now, we are without power and unsure of when we will have power again. 68,000+ people in the southern Illinois area area without power.
We are counting our blessings today… our house itself was not badly damaged and everyone is safe and sound!! There are a lot of families in this area that were not as lucky… please keep them in your prayers.
I’ll write again when I am able to charge my computer and phone.

So glad you’re safe and sound. My parents house was lucky no trees down, but behind them not so lucky, one of the oldest trees in town fell on 2 cars behind their house. They lost their flag pole and some lawn furniture but they and my lil bro’s house survived with issue.
Hopefully power comes back soon.
