Do you wear wellie socks with your Hunter’s???
Do you wear matching socks like Julianne? Or contrasting socks like above?
I wear original green Hunter’s (just like the Queen of England & all of the adorable producers at the Martha Stewart show! Right, Lulu!?)…
So I’m trying to decide what color wellie socks to order, because my feet are STILL cold from wearing my boots 3 days ago. Regular socks just don’t cut it in the cold & snow! Suggestions?

I know!! I have the Hunter Green ones as well and with the weather this weekend, they gotten a lot of wear. Regular socks do not cut it. I’m thinking the creme colored ones but concerned about dirt….which ones are you feeling?

I like the contrasting socks personally but I have to get the Hunter Huntress boot because their original Wellies are too narrow in the shaft.

I have the eggplant hunters and I wear them with baby blue wellie socks, I think the contrasting colors are fun, and I love the multi-colored stripes that Hunter was selling before the holidays!!
I just took mine back and I was sooo sad. They were just too tight on my shins to tuck in skinny jeans. Maybe after 17 weeks of Weight Watchers, I’ll reward myself my trying some on agan and seeing if they fit better, but I’ve always had muscular shins, so we’ll see…Love the look!
I wear gray hunter sock with my green hunters (the same as yours). I love the contrast! however, the hunter socks are too think to wear with jeans, so I have a pair of Smartwool also.

I do not have the sock inserts yet! but since my hunters are black and I am not much of a fashio risk taker I will wear them with black socks inserts.

I have the aubergine wellies and wear both the ivory liners and the dark grey. I like the contrast of both and choose depending on my outfit that day!
I ordered a number of different pairs to try (zappos), I currenly have the red hunters so I got black and ivory socks to go with them. I tried the charcoal gray ones and wasn’t overly impressed with the color so I’m planning on returning those. The red liners didn’t match exactly (the sock was brighter than the boot) so I am planning on returning those as well. Down the road I plan to get black wellies so then I’ll be able to do both matching and contrast.

I don’t have Wellies, boo! I love them, but there is really no need for them in AZ. But I loooove the contrasting socks in the first pic. Or like Erin said…ivory/violet.

We have the opposite predicament! I got Hunter socks for my birthday from a friend who read my blog post about lusting after the red pair. But, I still don’t have the boots! I can’t find them in my size and I’m not sure that I’m ready to give up and settle for a different color.

I have the original greens also…i rock ‘em with the matching green somedays and then rock ‘em with navy wellie socks on other days. You really must have two pairs(if not more) of wellie socks!

i do both…i have the black hunters and i have both black hunter socks and the light blue hunter socks…regardless of color just get a pair…they will keep your feet nice and warm

With all the snow that the Chicago area received of late this is the fashion footwear for the week.
I don’t have a pair, but I like the contrasting colors, but I think it would just depend on what I was wearing, my mood, etc. I might have to buy some, it’s getting pretty chilly here in Alabama this winter!
I just ordered mine today, I am very excited! I went with the beige boot and lilac sock, not sure if I like my sock pick but there were literally very little available anywhere today. I am currently on a mission to find the striped socks. I love the idea of the contrast of dark and light, and yet I bought the light/light combo! I am also thinking of the green sock to go with my new olive North Face anorak. I am hooked! Get any and every color you come across, the green boot is such a great neutral!
I have navy Hunters and got the ivory warmers. The contrast looks great whether I’m in a skirt, pants or jeans. I’m not sure that you can really go wrong with any combination.
