The Ballard Designs catalog arrived in the mail at the end of the week and as always I would like to order almost every single item out of it! Their room creations give me such great inspiration for our new home. I pick little pieces and ideas from each page. It’s so much fun!
I want this laundry sign. Jenna has a sign with the definition of gourmet in her kitchen and it looks very similar to this one. I just love it.
I ended up buying the largest of the matching rugs (to backdoor rug) for under our dining room table and took your advice on going with a solid color print runner for the hallway.
This rug in green/olive would be perfect for our hallway if only it came in an extra-long runner. I need at least an 11′ runner. Don’t you hate it when you finally find what you are looking for it and it’s sold out or they don’t make it in the size you need??? So frustrating!
We have a small wall that is part of the kitchen/dining area that we could use a tall cabinet or self-standing pantry type piece for. Something that we could use as additional storage space. There is more “display” area on this one than I would like but I like how in the picture they are using everyday items as decoration. Multiple uses is key, right!?
This picture is on sale at Ballard Designs right now and I want it for somewhere in our house… The colors in the picture are perfect for our little abode!
And just because what’s a decor blog post without a little dreaming…. I’m drooling over this office. Plain & simple.

I love that laundry sign too. That laundry room makes me want to spend hours in there doing laundry, which would be a total score!

We had something similar in our kitchen for a while where we displayed cookbooks, every day plates, pitchers, etc – and while at first I thought I would hate having those things out in the open (I usually don’t like clutter), I actually really liked the color it added (plus, it was useful!)
