he’s just not that into you…

by Nina on February 9, 2009

I had the pleasure of catching “he’s just not that into you” at theater over the weekend and it was a fun movie to watch! And, surprisingly, I don’t think the guys wanted to poke their eyeballs out through the entire movie (like Mamma Mia!). I won’t say anything to ruin the movie but wanted to share a few thoughts. The characters were terrific and the actors… well, they couldn’t have found more perfect individuals to play these roles. I’ve always been on Team Aniston so of course I loved her. Come to think of it, I really enjoyed all of the characters with the exception of Scarlett Johansson!

Seriously, what would we do without our girlfriends? They are the only ones that understand that dating and relationships rank right up there with Foreign Policy and National Security.

If you didn’t catch it earlier in the post, I despised Scarlett Johansson’s character! I was never a huge fan of hers, but I’ll never be a fan now.

Oh and I loved Justin Long!!

That’s good to know you liked it. I haven’t seen it yet and have been hesitating. Maybe I’ll drag Dan with me to see it on V-day… :-)

I’m looking forward to seeing this movie and believe it or not, my husband is too! I’m so excited that he finally wants to see a chicklet with me so its good to hear your report that the men didn’t seem to dislike it!

i didn’t like SJ’s character either. all i could think about this morning was that story line and Jennifer Connelly’s character. i don’t really like Jennifer Connelly though. i thought they did a great job turning the book into a movie and did you see Greg Behrendt as the preacher at the sister’s wedding??? :) so fun!

I’m SO very mad that I got sick this weekend. I had planned on going to see it on Friday! Hopefully, I’ll be able to see it soon!

I can’t wait to see it. I’m soooo with you about Team Aniston…and not being into Scar Jo…I don’t know why she bugs me, she just does. I do however, like her trench in the photo you posted above. So chic!

Not to mention that ScarJo’s styling was just gross. I mean, her wardrobe was so unflattering, and the lipstick choice with the hair that matched her skin? Ugh.

I really want to see this movie…glad to hear that it was good. Just from the previews I can tell that I am NOT going to like Scarlett Johansson’s character.

Just saw it last night…not a fan of SJ’s character either. I feel like she plays that role a lot! The movie was so cute though and some of it was so true!

Looks cute…I’ll have to add it to my movie list.

And I’m with you on Scarlett J. She has always annoyed me for some reason…

I really liked it and couldn’t agree more that they cast this movie perfectly! I really despised Scarlett Johansson’s character too. She is a beautiful girl though.

i saw this movie last saturday and thought it had a great cast, but the movie was way too long! i felt like i had just watched a 3 hour movie. overall i would give it only 2.5 stars.

Saw the movie this week with a girlfriend…completely agree with the remark on SJ…never been a fan, and the movie did NOT endear! Justin Long & Ginnifer Goodwin were perfect!
