Today is a very special day. It’s the day my cousin Kelly was born! I wasn’t even a thought at that point but God knew what the plan was for the two of us. 
From the time we were only old enough to barely see over the table (well, at least I could barely see over the table), we were the closest of close. As we still say, “fave cousins.” We had an instant bond & it remains today. We’ve spent every 23rd of December together for the last 29 years, I cried my eyes out when she moved away, and then she did the same for me, she dressed me up as an elf when I was 7, she drove me to school when I was a freshman and she taught me everything I needed to know about being a cheerleader! She taught me it was better to eat cookie dough raw than cooked. She was the first to make me a Maid of Honor & she was the first to make me an aunt. We laugh, we cry and we even sing together… Tell Kelly I love her.

Kel, I can’t thank you enough for all of the memories we shared and all the memories still to come. I can’t wait to celebrate your special day with you tonight. Lots of love, your little cousin.

What a sweet tribute to someone who is clearly a sweet friend/cousin. I think that being friends with family is the best and love that I’m close with my cousins as well. Happy birthday to Kelly!
