To enter, leave a comment below answering the following questions:

2. What’s your #1 wanted item on YOUR wish list?

3. If you win, will you use the gift certificate to buy something for yourself OR for someone else?

You have until Wednesday at 5 p.m. CST to enter. I will announce the winner Wednesday night after 10 p.m. I will use Random.org to pick the winner.

Good luck!

I come from a large family but I have made a number of gifts that I will be giving out. I have a few more that I need to either make or purchase (I have about 10 more).

On my list I would love a beautiful pair of leather boots.

If I win I think that I might put this towards a new wall clock or a home office chair.

We are on a strict budget this year, so we’ll be buying for our kids, parents, and a couple of select friends.

The #1 item on my wish list is Lowe’s gift cards!

I would use the gift cert on something for our kitchen!

ooo..what a great giveaway!

1. I have to buy for about 10 people this year. I’m trying my best to think of gifts that are great for couples!

2. I’m hoping to get some items from my wedding registry that I did not get as gifts. My top choice is a Le Creuset dutch oven!

3. If I win, it will be so tough not to buy something for someone else but I’d really love to put it towards some le Creuset items!

1. Close to 12? More if we add in little gifts for coworkers.

2. Honestly….I don’t know! My mom is nagging me to put together a list for her and I just don’t know what I want! Truthfully, I’d love a Dyson Animal vacuum. That makes me sound so old!

3. Definitely shopping. I still have lots to do!!

We are buying for two sets of families this year (our first as a married couple, too!), and on the top of my list is an iPad or (and) a dSLR. If I win, I will put the gift certificate toward something Le Creuset in Caribbean for my sister-in-law as a Christmas/housewarming gift.

We have minimal family to buy for… we really don’t go overboard as it’s not about the presents anyway for us adults. I will buy for the two little ones in my life and my MIL & FIL. Then, my MIL and I always adopt kids from our local Department of Social & Health Services. I have a social worker that I’ve kept in contact with over the years and she gives me a handful of kids who are really deserving and we go spend some time getting good gifts for them. That’s my favorite! :)

Hubby and I are going to Mexico so we’re not doing gifts… and if anyone else watns to get me anything I’m asking for some things around the house. A Pottery Barn duvet is high on the list for our guest room!

I will probably use the gift card to buy something for me niece or nephew… but who knows? I could find something I love for our house!!!! :)

Gosh, I tried to comment but I don’t see it? I apologize if you get a double???

1. We only have four family members to buy for… over the years we have really cut back and only do a little bit in order to keep the spirit of Christmas about the right things! I will buy for my niece and nephew and my MIL & FIL. My MIL and I also buy for some foster kids through a social worker that I’ve kept in contact with through the years. It is so fun to get a handful of kids that I trust are really deserving and needy and to buy them some fun stuff!!!

2. I’m not really making a list… Hubby and I are going to Mexico so we’re not doing gifts and if anyone wants to buy stuff for me I will just ask for stuff I want around the house. A new dishwasher, anyone!? HA! No really, I love one of PB’s duvets for my guest room… so maybe that!

3. I will probably buy toys for my niece & nephew… but maybe I’ll spot something I love!!!

1) 16! That’s only family/in-laws too! Wow that’s…more than I thought. Better get to work!
2) A garlic press! I’m so tired of chopping garlic – I put it in almost everything!
3) I would probably use it to buy for someone else! Every little bit around the holidays helps. :)

Let’s see, this year we have 25 gifts to buy just immediate family. (Man, when I write it down it feels way more overwhelming!)

Sadly, the top of my list is some work out gear. About to have this baby any day now and I want to drop that baby weight before my birthday in Feb!

If I win I would probably use the gift card towards a gift… Unless I just can’t resist picking up myself a lil somethin ;) haha but the smart thing would be to do a lil gift buying!

What an AWESOME give-away!!

1. Our holiday gift list has been slimmed down due to building a new house and impact of the good ‘ol recession the last 2 years. For sure my husband’s kids and all the little ones, including his son’s one year old twins will be top on the list so that’s about 10 total. BUT, I love to buy gifts so sure there will be some surprises under our tree for my husband!
2. I have a very long list for my house…starting with a new foyer table and some art for over our fireplace. Practical stuff that will be for our next. So, that’s two things!!
3. Most likely someone else…my best friend’s b-day is right after Xmas and she’s fun to buy for.

I love this give-away and it couldn’t come at a better time.

My number one wish list item would be new perfume (I told my husband to pick something out HE liked!) My wish list to myself was my Christmas cards from Ashley Brooke Designs- CHECK!

Between my husband’s family & mine, we have quite a few people to buy for. About 13 to be exact. But we’re on a strict budget and are planning on getting creative. Lots of handmade gifts this year :)

The #1 item on my list is MY NEW HOUSE. Our closing is set for December 21st. Some Le Creuset to go in the kitchen wouldn’t hurt though…I think I would treat myself if I’m the lucky winner!!

3. I would use the gift certificate to buy something for my mom – she has a santoku knife high on her Christmas list this year!!

1. Fortunately I do my shopping year round so I only have to purchase things for my husband and two sons now. But to answer your question, I have 8 nieces and nephews, my husband’s parents and my mom, homemade goodies for neighbors, distant relatives that live close by and co-workers. Then we also send out 100+ cards each year too.
2. The item I want most for Christmas is a new battery for my laptop, which I currently have to keep plugged in to use :(
3. I would most likely treat us to something and then get something for somebody else too. Most of our family birthdays fall in December and January and we get double hit so it would definitely help w/ getting a gift or two for others.
Thanks for the chance!!!

I think my #1 item on my list is either a piece of David Yurman or Clarisonic. I miss being younger and having a huge list of toys I want.

If I won the gift certificate, I would give it to my boyfriend. He love to cook and is always shopping for kitchen items. I luckily benefit from his love of cooking.

Ohhh! I’ve recently jumped on the CSN bandwagon too; Just two weeks ago I purchased a dining room set, coffee table, and accent table from them. Great customer service and super fast shipping!!

Anyway, on to the questions:
1. How many people do you have to buy gifts for this year? Far too many to count… I just started counting and ran out of fingers, so let’s just say 10+. Good news is, I’m going to try to make a lot of handmade gifts this year or buy things off Etsy to make it a “Handmade Christmas”

2. What’s your #1 wanted item on YOUR wish list? I’ve been wanting a fabulous painting that I spotted a few weekends ago in a local art gallery. Pretty bizarre for me to ask for a painting for Christmas, but it has really stuck with me.

3. If you win, will you use the gift certificate to buy something for yourself OR for someone else? I’d use the certificate to buy something for my house. My husband and I just purchased and moved into this home, from a condo, 5 months ago and we now have more rooms (aka more space!) to furnish and decorate.

1. I’m getting married so my family to buy presents for has doubled in size….probably about 20 people this year.

2. My Christmas list includes new cookware and a vacuum cleaner for our house.

3. I would probably buy something for my fiance or my mom.

Reply

66 Kiks November 16, 2010 at 8:13 am

My primary Christmas purchases will be for my immediate family and parents, about 10. We have several gift exchanges on both sides of the family so that means several more small gifts. You know the ones…”What can you buy for a 40 year old man for under $20 that isn’t a flashlight, screwdriver set, thermos or socks?”

I don’t really have a lot on my Christmas list this year as I feel like I have already been blessed with everything I need. I could use some new pj’s.

I would use the gift certificate for a gift for my “Le Creuset” crazed daughter. Didn’t really think she liked to cook but give her a Le Creuset dish and an All-Clad pan and she is suddenly the Iron Chef.

I married into a large family, so my shopping list is quite daunting! #1 on my wish list is an ipad … keeping my fingers crossed! If I win, I would use the gift certificate to buy something for my sister who is an amazing cook.

I have about 15 people to give gifts to – although the last few years we’ve been making our own food baskets and everyone’s is identical – so much easier and more affordable for us!

Number one on my list is a waffle maker, I think. We didn’t register for one when we got married and now I find myself wanting to make waffles all the time, which is kind of impossible without a waffle maker.

Oh I hate to be selfish, but my birthday is right before Christmas and I’d use the gift certificate to get a treat for myself :)

My holiday list includes gifts for my three children, husband, our nanny and some family – probably totals 10 or so.

I would love a new immersion blender! Hint, hint – in case Matthew is reading this!

I would probably use the gift certificate to purchase some kitchen items for myself – maybe a new saute pan??

Thanks for hosting such a fun giveaway and congratulations on your marriage.

3. If I win, I’m treating myself to a Dutch oven – I registered for one when I got married 2 months ago but, sadly, didn’t get it. Now’s the time! Fingers crossed!!! :)

Thanks for asking how many people I need to buy gifts for, I haven’t had a chance to count. My first guess is about 15, and we are keeping it simple this year. Thinking Harry & David gift baskets for most.

I most want a Land’s End Canvas gift card,I love their clothes, but haven’t bought any for myself yet!

If I win the gift certificate, I have to say, I plan on being selfish and using it to by myself something! I’ve been wanting a Le Cruset 6 or 7 qrt pot and this would help the sting of the price tag!

I am purchasing gifts for about 18 people this season. Some will be big gifts (family members) and others will be smaller (daughter’s friends).

I will also be happy with a new Kate Spade handbag.

I really really would like a new duvet and shams for our Master Bedroom! They are the only thing on my list from my financee, so I am pretty sure I will get those! They are from Pottery Barn, and I just love them!

If I won, I would either get a gift for my sister who also loves to cook like I do, or I would splurge on myself and get some more LC, just have one of their bakeware pans and love it so far!

1. 9 people to buy christmas gifts for, and many more to bake for!

2. As exciting as this sounds, a food processor is at the top of my list.

3. If I win, I will use it to buy something for my kitchen, which in turn I can use to bake for others!

1. i have to buy presents for 6 people, if you include the beau’s parents.
2. a david yurman birthstone cable bracelet, the gold glitter tom’s, and anything for our new home!
3. i would definitely be using it for myself, to buy something for the new home.

I’ve got to keep this minimal this year, so I’m buying for my children and that’s about all. My list contains wishes for their health and happiness. If I won, I would use the GC for something pretty for my very special daughter.
