We have the most thoughtful and generous friends and family. Almost every day since Jack’s birth there has been a package on our doorstep or in our mailbox. Every single one of the gifts is special and perfect in it’s own way! Last week I opened a few packages at once and had them spread out on the dining room table. The colors were too beautiful not to take a few pictures.
Giggle asked a few days ago, “What are your favorite baby gifts you could never have enough of?” I quickly answered, “Books & Blankets!” Don’t you agree?
My dear friend Erin and her family sent us this precious blankie that has Jack’s full name and birth stats on it. It’s so beautiful and I plan to use it for the first time on his christening day. She also included some of her boys’ favorite books and the most lovely Low Country Luxe candle. The adorable Papyrus card read, “Enjoy the blankie as you read some of our favorite bedtime books. And enjoy the candle as you relax!” How sweet is that?
Two of Jack’s aunties and their families sent him the “Who Loves Jack?” personalized story book. The book is so sweet and the book’s illustrations are so bright and cheerful. I love the story, each one of the his aunties and cousins names are included! The book is from www.iseeme.com.

Love this post! As a mom to be I have to agree that books and blankets are on my list of things and as a friend to lots of new moms they are gifts I love to give. Thanks for sharing!!
