My list of things to get and do:

1. International Grocer for Lorina Sparkling Lemonades

2. Grocery store to get ingredients for a few of my menu items:

  • Chicken wings
  • Guacamole & Salsa
  • Pretzel rods
  • Antipasto firecracker kabobs
  • Tomato & Mozzarella with creamy balsamic dressing
  • Cupcakes
  • Potato salad
  • Hamburgers
  • Bundt cake with whip cream and fruit

3. Liquor store

  • Blue Hawaiian Punch – Malibu Coconut Rum, Blue Curacao, Pineapple juice, sweet & sour and pineapple wedges (our blue drink)
  • Strawberry Margaritas (for our red drink!)
  • Beer
  • Wine

***********************

In case I decide against Strawberry Margs, do you have a red red punch recipe you recommend? Also I really want to make a new dip? What are your favorites?

I hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend to the fullest! I’m hoping to get a tan!

SANGRIA! Ask Mojito Maven for her recipe – it’ll knock your socks off!

Warm Corn Dip is my new favorite (+ it’s very “American”!)…

One of my favorite dips to make is a taco dip that is layered as follows: refried beans, sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, tomatoes and olives if you like :) It’s always a hit! And thanks for your sweet comment on my bridesmaids post earlier in the week :)

My favorite quick, easy delicious, and ALWAYS a hit dip….

For a lighter version substitute full fat mayo for Kraft Olive Oil Mayo and instead of regular sour cream I use light. I also add artichoke hearts (plain, sold in the frozen food aisle). Enjoy!

This is my go to dip, always a hit! I substitute Kraft Olive Oil Mayo and light sour cream for the full fat versions and it’s still just at delicious. I also add plain (in the frozen food isle) artichoke hearts.

I have a super simple recipe for pepperoni dip that is always a hit – especially with the men. It’s nothing fancy but it’s always the first thing to disapper. Just three ingredients: 1 can of Cream of Celery Soup, 8oz of cream cheese and pepperoni. Just throw it in a small crock pot and stir together or warm it up on the stove or in the microwave. (Sometimes I add a splash of milk if it’s too thick.) I like to serve it with toasted baguette slices but you can also do crackers.

Happy 4th of July!

Oh wow, what tool do you use to make photo mosaics, because that looks BEAUTIFUL, the perfect embodiment of the 4th of July. Love it, looks like a great weekend (and sounds like it from the yummy food you listed).
