Each morning I pour my first cup of coffee, sit down at my computer and my Google Reader is the first thing I open. It’s my “newspaper.” I enjoy reading everything from the latest news in social media to recaps from my friend’s weekends to fabulous fashion finds. Today was no different. My Reader never lets me down.
Monograms and Manicures reviewed the ever-so-lovely Jules Reid. This Gwyneth dress is my favorite piece from the Fall Collection and are the booties not to die for?
Side note: Speaking of Gwyneth, am I the last person to find out that Gwyneth Paltrow is now a country music singer? What’s the story?
Meredith introduced me to Furbish Studio Online. One word. Dangerous. The imperial trellis fabric is just down right too chic for words. I need to find a way to add one of these prints to our little abode. Maybe the green for a throw pillow or two on the [new, waiting for it's arrival] sofa? Or the orange for an accent piece in the guest bathroom?
Summer is a Verb wrote about sheridan french and I’m so glad she did. The collection is outstanding!

Here’s to making this week a great one! I have so many things to do I can’t count them all. My dear friend, Erin is celebrating a birthday this week and so is my cousin Kelly! Mr. Postman will be called to duty this week to deliver some sweet surprises to my girls. What will it be!?!?
Hopefully this week the post department will produce a little more than last week. I’m really considering buying an eye-Fi SD card [despite my fear of geo-tagging]. Our Nikon is full of pictures [a lot specifically for the blogging purposes] but downloading to my computer, uploading to Flickr/Picasa and then posting to the blog turns a quick post into an hour project. By the time I fight with the computer and the camera, all of my blog mojo is out the door. Does this happen to you? If my pictures from my camera magically appeared in my Flickr account [without any connecting, uploading, downloading on my part] I could bust out blog posts within the time my barista froths my milk! Wouldn’t that be great?

I *totally* hear you on the photo process bringing down your blogging mojo. I’m trying to incorporate more photos in my posts, and sometimes all the card-Picasa-Flikr-blog back and forth I do sucks the energy right out of me! I’ve started implementing a blog now, photo later mandate which seems to be helping. I get the writing out o the way when the idea sparks, and then go back later in the afternoon to plug in all the photos I want.
Cannot wait to see all the photos you have in store!

Also– from what I understand, Gwyneth may not REALLY be a country singer. But she plays the country singer in the new movie Country Strong and recorded all of her own music. I imagine they’ll release a single from the movie and have Gwyneth perform it live a few times to promote the movie. I just can’t see her taking up permanent residence in Nashville. But what do I know?!
And I keep forgetting about my birthday! What’s that about?!

Doll Face!! I am loving my sweet Nina and this post. Could there be anything more lovely than sitting down with a cup of coffee and being inspired by blogs and our dear friends. sadly , girlfriend is off coffee til April when baby arrives, so it is hot tea with creme and sugar for me, which reminds me of a very sophisticated grandma lady (maybe mine?) and for now that is who my big belly and I are channeling.. and Mr. Postman has a special treat for you on the way.. of course once it is monogrammed .. love you baby sister xo
