Even though I have a stacks and stacks of cookbooks in my kitchen, I’m always excited to flip through a new magazine each month for new recipes, tips & tricks… or maybe a kitchen gadget or prep tool or two! I’m a firm believer you are automatically better at the sport if you have all the right gear. Same thing applies in the kitchen.
Cooking Light is one of my all-time favorite food magazines. Erin introduced me to the Cooking Light cookbooks (which I use often) and I always read Cooking Light magazine at my mother-in-law’s. When Callie announced Willow House is offering two (2) years of Cooking Light for only $24.00, not only did I decide to subscribe but I knew I had to share the deal with all of you too.
24 issues for $24 – It’s like a new cookbook arriving each month for $1.00. Mega Deal.
If you would like to order the two year subscription, you must email Callie with your magazine orders.

What to do with the issues when you are done with them?
I tear out the pages that I want to use or keep for future reference. I slide them into a clear plastic cover page inside one of these binders. My friend Julie created the one on the left for us when we got married and the other one is from Williams-Sonoma . Mandy gave it to me at my bridal shower. I put both to great use!
If you use this method for all magazines, you’ll have less clutter in your house (I’m working on two stacks of magazines in my living room right now) and it makes it much easier to find and reference those favorite pages at the drop of a hat.

Again, if would like to order the two year subscription of Cooking Light, email Callie and she will get you all set up! Also, be sure to check out Callie’s blog for this week’s specials. There is a vase for $4.96!
Happy Thursday and Happy Cooking!

Love the notebook idea for recipes and inspiration ideas as well! We received a similar recipe book when we got married but it is smaller than yours. I love the idea of just using the plastic protectors and being done with it.
I also have 2 Cooking Light cookbooks but the magazine offer is almost too good to pass by!
I just organized all my torn out recipes in the exact binder (the left one)! They had been in such disarray that I had forgotten all the wonderful things that I’d torn of magazines over the years.
I love the idea of tearing the pages out…you are a smartie
Great organizing ideas ! Thank you for this post.

Great tip! I have tons of magazines stacked in bin. This organizing idea will help me declutter! =)
