She came to 703 since we don’t have a normal Sbux around – we only have them inside our local grocer – weird I know. So I put a pot (that turned into two) of coffee on and put some bagels & fruit out right in time for the door bell. We were talking so fast from the second she walked in… that we didn’t even touch the food. Julie just left… the coffee is ancient history… and now I’m buzzzzzzzing around the house like a bee on crack!! Seriously, I just typed all of the above words faster than a Court Reporter. I didn’t even know my fingers could move that fast. Oh how I wish I lived closer to her so we could have coffee and chat all the time!! She brought me the most adorable little gift of jams in the cutest packaging and a little Halloween bucket full of treats.
In preparation of her coming over, I laid out a few pieces of biz to discuss too:
1. The Glossary of Acronyms from TAG at JGIWC. Julie loved them and I sent her with a copy for all of her friends back in NC. Which by the way, are all Loyal Unknown Readers of the Blog!! (I hope to meet all of you one day!)
2. My Embossed Notecards with Oversized Monogram from Monogram Chick… which I knew JM would simply DIE over and she did!
3. My portfolio of designs – because Julie loves to see my most recent pieces of work!
4. November issue of domino – I was so excited to see a new issue on the rack at the grocer yesterday. When I bought my first copy a week or so ago I assumed it was Nov. but never actually looked to see. Excitement – to say the least!
Okay… so we really only got 1 – 3 covered. We had too many other important things to discuss… like saving the world for instance
I’m getting ready to open up the domino issue now if I can sit still long enough.
