I put this Inspiration Board together quite a while ago for one of my sister-in-laws. I was so in love with the orange and blue theme. I still love it but before I got completely carried away, we decided to change the shower to a Sip & See once Baby Mac arrived. Mainly because he was due in November and living in the southern Midwest you just never know what the weather is going to be like from one day to the next.
I was having a really hard time finding a lot of blue items in the right shade. I did not want to take the chance of a teal/gangrene color! What would any hostess do? I’m improvised and added a color. Green. A citrus, limey kind of green. It’s all coming together quite nicely for a project that had been living on my back burner for since November. I did not redo the inspiration board but I will share pictures after the party.
I had high hopes of making the cake balls and having lots of homemade cookies in jars (as seen below) but I’m going to be really honest and tell you none of that is happening. I’m not baking AT ALL. I ordered all the desserts. Cookies and cupcakes from a local bakery. Another day I will try baking again but not today!

The Sip & See is tomorrow! I’ve been in full planning mode all week. Cleaning, laundry, decorating, completing projects I’ve been putting off for months, menu planning, drink prep, picking up party supplies. When we decided on the 8th of January I had no idea how quickly the date would arrive. But all is well and I have lots of great help.
