Can’t Host a Party Without a New Dress

by Nina on October 7, 2011

I ordered this dress slash tunic from Shop Sosie last week and plan to wear it for our Halloween party. And only in my dreams did I order the $490 orange patent flats. I plan to wear my orange/gold Hermès H bracelet along with my new gold bangles from J.Crew. Oh and get excited… I have a Halloween headpiece to wear too! I found it in Kansas City while visiting my sis last week and it is spooky chic!

Bottega Veneta ballerina flat, $490
Kendra Scott long earrings, $60
Gigi Chic orange jewelry, $150

I’m also hoping to make a wreath similar to this one this weekend.

And I desperately want to paint some pumpkins for our front porch too! Aren’t these gorgeous?

Stayed tuned for more Halloween ghoulness! I hope you have a great weekend!

I just love that dress, it will be perfect for your Halloween party. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you can find some orange flats that are a little more wallet friendly!

Those pumpkins are adorable, you should definitely make some for your front porch!

I was planning on carving pumpkins this weekend to set outside my apartment!! The pumpkins you showed are absolutely adorable and I may be rethinking my pumpkin plans! Thanks! :)

I NEED that dress! I made a similar wreath with moss and pumpkins inspired by one I saw from William’s Sonoma. Love it!

That outfit is pretty much the most classy Halloween hostess outfit I’ve ever seen. I love it!

Hi Nina!! I’ve been following your blog for a few months (I found you off Erin’s blog and just LOVE your blog). I’ve liked this dress since you’ve first posted it, I’m just worried about it being too short! I’m about 5’9 and pretty straight build. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

And you and your family are just adorable! I don’t have any children, but love getting ideas from you :)
