Did this really just happen?

by Nina on February 10, 2009

I’m sitting at my desk and I hear a noise that sounded as if something very large was thrown at the front door or someone ran a small motor vehicle into it…. I ran downstairs only to find a huge bird on the front porch…. D.E.A.D!  Ahhhhhh!

Ew! Gross. I’ll never forget when I was young and my dad and I were driving somewhere…and a bird flew into the windshield. GROSS!

OH my goodness! That’s hilarious and sadddd :( We had a similar occurance where I used to work. It was at a sports training facility. We heard a super loud BANG at the window. But before we even went outside, we knew what we would find because…there was a huge and ENTIRE print of a bird’s body wings and side of its face left on the window. And the SICK and TWISTED guys I worked with refused to clean the image off of the window. So we named him and referred to his little bird spirit often hahaha. Like I said…hilarious, but sad!!

Awww! :( Maybe it saw those “Windex” commercials and thought to itself “Surely it doesn’t hurt that bad…” HAHAHA! Not funny that it’s dead, but it’s just weird.

one hit our big window in the living room the other day and landed on its feet on top of my car. he started looking around as if he was thinking, “i hope no one saw me.” then he flew off.

I am sure you noticed that your Dad removed the bird from the front porch as soon as I told him about it. I said it was freaking me out…you know I am just a little superstitious. There are lots of superstitions regarding birds. The one thing I do know is the crazy bird should have seen the window. Unlike the Windex commercials my front door is rarely that clean thanks to the wet noses and muddy paws of Izzy, Diesel and Holly.
