adventures of discovery…

by Nina on September 26, 2008

Discovery Museum… In the grocery store… isn’t this so cute?
V picking out some produce…
V ringing up my bill…
Calling for price check…
“Uncle Michael, I need your credit card”
Selling ice cream by the shore…

Then for a short sail…
And, then it was time for lunch at the Diner…
Lunch is served… compliments of Chef Victoria
Mike with ALL of the food V served us…
I visited Victoria back where it all happens…
Lollipops all around… thanks to Pop Pop Pete ;-)
In the words of Victoria, “Wasn’t today a great day?”… it sure was!!!
Now, all three of us are taking a nap!

Looks like you three had a marvelous day. G and I had a marvelous time in Chicago last night, as usual. We had dinner at Gage with Bob and Sherri – what a treat, although not nearly enough time to visit before having to leave for the concert. The Eagles concert was outstanding. If I hadn’t been so overwhelmed by how old the Eagles fans looked I might have thought I was back in college. The concert was sold out and was 3 1/2 hours long. A few new songs and lots of oldies. I believe Greg really enjoyed his Father’s Day gift. We were up way past our bed time especially since we had to pick Miss Izzy up from the babysitters (AKA, Uncle Bob and Aunt Sheri) on the Magnificent Mile. Very sweet of them to offer. I know you are having a wonderful time with you East coast family – wish we were there. Let Michael know Susan was here today and his room is ready for him when he returns. Love to everyone. Kiki

Wow! I know you well enough to know you were probably wanting to be the one who was checking people out! I have that red cash register in my classroom! It is fun. Looks like you are having a great time. We’ll see you when you’re back in the ville.
