I’ll admit I was not sure about ankle boots at first but I’ve turned into quite a fan. I have the boots below by Sam Edelman in black and love them. They are very comfortable, not too high or too low. The saddle color is very versatile and you could wear these with leggings, jeans, tunics, or dresses even into Spring. I wear mine with a very low sock so they can’t be seen.

I also own these boots by J.Crew known as the MacAlister Wedge boot. I purchased them in dark cognac before Thanksgiving, mainly because it was the only color they had in stock. I adore the nut color! These too are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I’ve owned in a long time.

I do not own the Jeffrey Campbell boots and I’m not sure I could pull them off, but aren’t they so very cool with the bright orange side detailing?

I love finding great shoes that are comfortable too. It’s also nice to find when items can transition into new seasons with you and investment pieces you’ll look forward to wearing when Fall starts approaching after a long, hot Summer.
