GIFT GIVING

1 Oct
2012
I love to buy unexpected gifts that are for no other reason than just because someone is my friend and I know they'll enjoy whatever it is I've found for them.

Pens happen to be a common love among my friends. If I find a package of new pens I will most likely buy 3-4 packages and mail them out with a little note.

But think past the pens and post-it notes, maybe you have a friend that loves UsWeekly magazine but she cancelled her subscription to save money, mail her the newest issue as a little treat.

It can be anything from a latte to a newspaper. It does not have to be costly. I'm talking about simple ways to show someone you think of them often and appreciate their friendship.

pens – gotta love ‘em! I like your idea of personal gifts for friends. Perfect!
Now, the LePens you show in your picture – they are my favorite!!!!! but I’ve never seen them sold in package like that — have you actually purchased these and if so, where? A nearby store had them as a seasonal item a year ago, but they have not brought them back. I think I’ll be surfing the web to try and come up with some.

I love all things pen and paper, and this is a great gift idea! I bought those PaperMate Flair Pens for my planner and my friend was coveting them, so I popped the $4 and bought them for her. We speak the same love language. :)
