It's hard to visualize how artwork looks on walls and what you would pick to create a room around it, so I decided a few weeks ago to create a nursery inspiration board to help you see how I would create a room with the artwork.

This room is made up of light blues, greens, natural tones, and pops of red. The colors are calming and fun at the same time. I like the texture and natural coloring of the light fixture with coordinating coloring in the rug. The blue houndstooth chair with the monogrammed green pom pom pillow is one of my favorite pieces in this room. And I love how perfectly the bedding matches the colors in the paintings.
The artwork is hand painted by a talented artist here in our area. The four pieces are on beautifully finished Amish wood each piece measuring 16" x 16". She did a beautiful job and I'm just sad they didn't work for us. The one and only nursery I'm creating for my house has been created and it now has a sleeping baby in it!
