We started out with the Stokke Tripp Trapp chair and I thought it was the greatest thing until Jack starting sitting in it. It's a beautiful chair with fantastic engineering but it did not work well for us so I sold the chair to a set of grandparents to use when their granddaughter visits.

One of my sisters-in-law bought us the Inglesina Fast Table Chair which we love and have used the very most but it is very hard to keep clean. I do wish it had a plastic tray like the phil&teds Lobster highchair but I don't think it will bother me as much now that we'll be using it for traveling instead of everyday use.

We have an antique Jenny Lind high chair at my parents' house. I originally purchased a second one (for $30!) to paint for Jack's birthday but it ended up being a lemon. My mom generously offered hers up for Jack to use for his birthday so now it's bright apple red and sitting in the kitchen at the lake.

I'm really excited about the Boon Flair high chair for the second time around. I originally found this chair while doing research for Mandy back when Parker was a baby. I still don't know why I didn't just buy this chair to begin with.

The Boon Flair Pedestal has NO cracks or crevices, it's simple and easy to clean! Along with a list of terrific features:

  • Five-point safety harness

  • Removable waterproof pad

  • Hands-free braking system

  • Pneumatic lift height positioning

  • Adjustable tray

  • Six urethane castor wheels

Amazon ended up having the lowest price. Even if you don't have Prime, some still offered free shipping. I ordered the chair this morning with my Prime membership and the chair is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Can't beat that!

You will LOVE the Boon! But I would have thought you would have loved the Tripp Trapp. You did it backwards from me. We ordered the Boon and used it every single meal at home from 6 months to 2 years. We just got the Stokke now that he’s a “big boy” and absoultely love it! I heard it’s not so great for smaller babies. The Boon is fabulous but the tray is kinda small. I love that in the Stokke my son can sit at the table with us versus just using the small tray. My boy can eat so we needed more room!!

And careful – that seat cushion will stain from spaghetti sauce so wipe immediately!

I hate my Chicco high chair! It is a pain to clean! Will you let us know how you like this one. I need to try to sell the Chicco and get something new.

It looks so comfortable too! We have “vintage” high chair …”vintage meaning its all wood and from the 90′s… that was lent to us by my sister-in-law, but I really don’t like it very much.

Nina, we bought the Boon Flair for our daughter and it’s amazing! It’s so functional and EASY to clean. You won’t be disappointed with your purchase.

We have the Tripp Trapp too and I hate it. It’s expensive to begin with, but add in all the accessories (that you really have to have to make it functional at all) and I’ve spent nearly $500. I’ve heard really good things about the Boon Flair. Let us know what you think!

Cleaning the high chair is my least favorite chore in the world, so I’m interested in knowing if this is truly easy to clean! I have a Bloom Nano now and if we have a second baby, I’ll probably get something else as it’s not easy to clean at all!
