DAILY DIARY

22 Aug
2012
As I sit at my computer listening to Jack fight nap time today, I'm hugging this book! We adore Miss Laura and Miss Jennifer here at the Helleny house. Days like today rarely happen here, but they "off" days happen to all of us. Jack is a very good sleeper and napper thanks to us using MOC from Day 1. I even took my webinar outlines, books, and schedule with me to the hospital. I've probably told you that a few times by now, but I truly believe in these two wonderful ladies and their guidance on parenting.

Here are a just few of my favorite highlights from their new Toddler Book:

"This book will not make you a perfect parent. [...] We'd love to take you on a journey into the very real place where neither the toddlers nor the parents are perfect, but they are genuinely less frustrated and enjoying more of life together."

"Your toddler's behavior is not an indication of your self-worth."

"Three Point Teaching Technique"

"Determine your top 5 family priorities in order of importance"

"Responsibility and Moral Values"

"Families who enjoy healthy sleep habits are happier, more content, have more time to enjoy the small wonders of life and have a stable foundation in which to handle the regular day-to-day challenges of toddlerhood."

Please fill out the form below to be entered. If you wish, you may also leave a comment on this post telling us why you would like a copy of the new Toddler Book by Moms On Call for an additional entry.

I have heard great things about Moms on Call and I would love to read up on their thoughts on a toddler. We have had a few “off” days ourselves the last few weeks!

My little guy is turning 1 next week. I’ve heard wonderful things about Moms on Call, and I have a feeling that we’re going to need a little more help as we enter toddlerhood.

I love the Moms on Call method and wish I knew about it before I had my little girls almost a year ago. My first webinar was when she was about a month old. We definitely have our textbook bad nap days and then our good ones and I’m thankful for what I have learned along the way from Laura and Jennifer.

Would definitely love a copy of this book as we have the no-nap days entering this household as well:)

I don’t have a twitter or Facebook account, but as a mother to an almost 3 year old and a five month old boy, I always wonder if I am spending enough time with them, are we too relaxed in discipline, and will my oldest ever be potty trained. I would love to read this book to help me be a more confident parent.

My baby boy is just a few days younger than yours – born July 11, 2011. He’s now a “toddler” although he’s still my baby. :) Woud love to read this book.
