DAILY DIARY

2012
I swear one day I will be one of those bloggers that can blog the same day something happens again or even the day after would be nice. I used to be that way! I'm getting closer to getting back to that routine, but today I'm catching up.

Earlier this month, I drove to Atlanta to meet one of my very favorite people. My dear friend Erin! We shopped at market, enjoyed a very quiet hotel room, talked a lot, went out to eat, met up with other friends, and drank really good lattes from the hotel market. Mostly just enjoyed being together. It was a great weekend! Erin's mom was there and I had the pleasure of meeting three of her best friends too. I feel so lucky to have met them, we had such a wonderful time together. Of course, there were a lot of tears too. Our trips always end with lots and lots of tears. Darn those 634 miles between us. On a different note, one of the most fun things about going to market in the Summer is you get to see all of the Christmas trends for the year. I love knowing what's to come and decide if I want to jump on the bandwagon or not. Can you spy the trend?Elves! These little elves were everywhere!

Oddly enough, I think they're kind of cute! At first I thought they were a tiny bit creepy but they did grow on me. What do you think? Do you like the elves or not?

They seem a little creepy to me! :) I remember seeing a few last year. I think I’ll pass! But I sure do love the Mart in Atlanta! :)

My mom’s going to be so excited when I tell her this is a trend. She has a huge collection of weird little Christmas characters like elves. Too funny!

On another note, you and Erin look absolutely adorable in these pictures. I’m so glad you got to spend that time together. :)

Oh how I miss you! :) I’m loving all of this year’s Christmas trends and I especially loved getting to have a fun weekend with you! You’ve been initiated into their “ya ya sisterhood.” :)
