ENTERTAINING

We had a party last month to celebrate my sister-in-law graduating from St. Louis University! Our town hosts an Italian festival every Memorial Day weekend, and since our family loves Festa we decided to merge our heritage and the symbol, the fleur de lis, that represents St. Louis University and St. Louis in general to create the theme of the party! My sisters-in-law, mother-in-law and I all put our talents and ideas together. We had a great time planning this party together. The Annex Coffee & Deli was a fantastic venue for the party. The staff was excellent to work with and the location was right in the middle of the Festa action! I designed an invitation with the green lattice pattern and red fleur de lis. Once I had the invitations ordered, I contacted Sweet Birdie's Nest. They created menu tents, a banner, party rounds, and other matching pieces. Beverly and Heidi always do such a beautiful job. They are good eggs those girls!I'm including this picture for two reasons, you can see the adorable banner from Sweet Birdie's in the background and my Jack looks like such a little boy! I can't believe we'll be celebrating his first birthday in less than a month! I just go from one party to the next and I love every minute of it!
